Interior Architecture and Design invites your sense of wonder and curiosity about space and the built environment. You檒l transform your understanding of the relationship between human interaction and space, creating dynamic interior environments grounded by client-driven requirements and user needs.
Through focused, active engagements in residential, office, retail, exhibition and healthcare design, you檒l expand your view of materiality and its effects on space and people. You檒l use compositions of colors, textures, lighting and furnishings to set the mood for spaces to inhabit, both commercial and residential.
Our Curriculum
You檒l learn and use the latest in design and visualization techniques and software for professional outcomes, with industry colleagues providing project feedback and validation. 91精品檚 Interior Architecture and Design major positions you in the heart of the Historic Third Ward, a thriving design and creative district. There are over 20 architecture and interior design firms located within a half-mile of the campus employing both 91精品 student interns and full-time alumni.

Rinka+ engages Milwaukee youth in architecture, interiors and brand media work through 91精品檚 Design Internship program and employs several 91精品 alumni. More than two dozen interior architecture projects have been completed by 91精品 students on our campus.
