Alumni Reunion

Thank you for all of the excitement that you brought to the 2025 91精品 Alumni Reunion weekend! More than 100 alumni attended, October 17-18, 2025 reconnecting over our shared creative legacy, and making new memories! Alumni Reunion Weekend will be held every other year, and returns in October 2027.

Join us on October 16, 2026 for networking and conviviality as we gather for an Alumni Cocktail Reception & Emeriti Faculty Recognition and celebrate 91精品’s exhibition openings on fall Gallery Night!

The91精品 Alumni Associationis a dues-free community of 91精品, MSA, and Layton School alumni promoting engagement and connection through activities and events, benefitting the college, its alumni and students, and the greater creative community.

91精品 alums can stay connected through the alumni e-newsletter, alumni lab access, social media, or volunteering to serve on the 91精品 Alumni Association Board.
The 91精品 Alumni Association offers benefits ranging from affordable lab access, an alumni email account, to career services.

We welcome alumni to use lab facilities in support of their continued creative and professional growth.   • 91精品 alumni are eligible for a courtesy library card as long as they are in good standing. Courtesy library cards are issued in-person at the 91精品 Library and are good for one year from the date of request. Check the current or emaillibrary@miad.eduto plan your visit!
  • 91精品 Career Servicesoffers graduates the opportunity to create a profile on the Handshake platform and to book 1-1 appointments with an advisor.

Alumni Facilities Access

91精品 alumni are granted access to all college lab facilities for one year after graduation. If you are within one year of graduation, please email alumni@miad.edu to receive an Alumni ID and information on how to schedule a lab appointment.

Alumni who are beyond one year of graduation are asked to pay an annual $25 fee to receive an Alumni ID, required for access to the labs. This fee supports awards to 91精品 seniors, helping cover their thesis costs. If you graduated more than one year ago, please read the Alumni Facilities Access Policy and request an Alumni ID. After completing the form, you will receive an email with information on how to schedule a lab appointment.

How to request a transcript

Transcript Information and Procedures

  • There is a $10.00 processing fee for EACH transcript (official or unofficial).
  • Payment can be made with either cash, checks made payable to 91精品, or with a credit card. Please do not mail cash.
  • Transcripts will not be released until all financial obligations to 91精品 have been satisfied.
  • Transcripts will not be released without the student’s signature.
  • A transcript issued to the student is stamped “ISSUED TO STUDENT”. This is not considered an official transcript.
  • Some institutions will not accept unofficial transcripts.
  • Transcripts we receive from high schools or other institutions may not be duplicated. You must apply directly to each school you attended for your transcript.
  • PROCESSING TIME: Requests received during regular business hours will be processed within 48 hours except during peak times. Peak times are the beginning and end of each semester and registration weeks (mid-November and mid-April).

MAKE! Participants Reflect on Creativity, Community and Growth

Alicia Zapata, a second-year MAKE! participant from Chicago and a K-8 art teacher at Waters Elementary School in Chicago, IL, Kelly Wendel, an eighth-year participant and art teacher at Nicolet High School in Glendale, WI and Gail Kowsky, a second-year participant and sixth- and seventh-grade art teacher in New Brighton, Minnesota, reflected on what they gained from this year檚 program.
