91Ʒ Café

91Ʒs café is operated by American Dining Creations. For up-to-date hours, please visit the . Contact them at adc@miad.edu for catering or other questions. The 91Ʒ meal plan includes 12 meals per week. The meal plan is billed per semester and includes a $100 declining balance for additional meals or other items.

Students may purchase meal plan funds in advance for the 91Ʒ Café. This eliminates the need to worry about bringing a lunch or carrying credit or debit cards. Funds can be used for purchases in the Café only. A continuing balance is maintained in the food service database, and students can find out from the cashier at any time how much is remaining on the card. Debit and credit cards are also accepted.

Students living in 91Ʒ Housing are automatically enrolled in a 91Ʒ Café Meal plan and can increase their declining balance if needed throughout the semester. Funds remaining on the meal card at the end of the fall semester are carried over to the spring semester. However, funds remaining at the end of the spring semester are forfeited.

MAKE! Participants Reflect on Creativity, Community and Growth

Alicia Zapata, a second-year MAKE! participant from Chicago and a K-8 art teacher at Waters Elementary School in Chicago, IL, Kelly Wendel, an eighth-year participant and art teacher at Nicolet High School in Glendale, WI and Gail Kowsky, a second-year participant and sixth- and seventh-grade art teacher in New Brighton, Minnesota, reflected on what they gained from this years program.

91Ʒ elects new trustees Paul Fletcher and Jacqualyn Laughlin

Paul Fletcher, a principal product designer at LinkedIn, and Jacqualyn Laughlin, co-founder of Invisible Ink Partners, were elected members of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Designs Board of Trustees at the colleges annual meeting in June.
