First-Year students celebrate juried works at FYE Media Arts Festival ’23
Current and former First-Year Experience (FYE) students at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (91精品) celebrated their at the FYE Media Arts Festival 23 an in-house film and media screening in 91精品檚 Community Hub on November 16. The works from the students Digital-4D class were judged by four jurors from Cartoon Tavern Studios, a group of young media artists based in Baltimore.
From 87 entries, the jurors announced winners in four categories: STORY: Livinia Rosenthal, 淧ee Pee Adventure; SOUND DESIGN: Noah Couture, 淚mmersive Murder; ANIMATION: Mealea Khek, 淧aper Dragons; FILM/VIDEO; Cyrill Reyes, 淣o Idea.
Honorable Mentions went to Emily Dahm for 淭houghts in a Picture Frame, Ash Sanford for 淧ower on 8, Olivia Nava for 淪onidos de M茅xico and Darwin Childers for 淒ebauchery.

Containment Breach Selected for ICON13 Motion Commotion Screening
Parker Deutsch 26 (Illustration – Animation Track) recently had the animated short 淐ontainment Breach selected for screening in Motion Commotion, part of ICON13, the Illustration Conference.
