The , Milwaukee檚 premier organization dedicated to advertising, marketing and creative excellence throughout and beyond Wisconsin, awarded all of 2025檚 Student Showcase Awards to current or recently graduated 91精品 students.

The first place Gold Award went to Sarah Madden 24 for her senior exhibition project Bugbite, a marketing and packaging campaign and app for bug-based eco-friendly nutrition bars.

The four 91精品 Finalists and their awarded projects were:
- Current student Lauren Blood 25, for Conversation magazine, a collection of experimental creative writing centered around two imagined friends that was completed in 91精品檚 Publication Design course.
- Sammi Micklewright 24, for senior exhibition project Koda
- Abigail Tessmer, 24, for senior exhibition project Spark Plug
- Brady Vanderhart 24, for senior exhibition project Rally
While a student, Gold awardee Madden also designed the branded wall for M3 Insurance and did design work for the Pettit National Ice Center through the . She is currently a junior graphic designer for Creative Solutions in Chicago.
The United Adworkers 99 Show and awards ceremony is attended by hundreds of advertising and marketing professionals annually.

MAKE! Participants Reflect on Creativity, Community and Growth
Alicia Zapata, a second-year MAKE! participant from Chicago and a K-8 art teacher at Waters Elementary School in Chicago, IL, Kelly Wendel, an eighth-year participant and art teacher at Nicolet High School in Glendale, WI and Gail Kowsky, a second-year participant and sixth- and seventh-grade art teacher in New Brighton, Minnesota, reflected on what they gained from this year檚 program.

Paul Fletcher, a principal product designer at LinkedIn, and Jacqualyn Laughlin, co-founder of Invisible Ink Partners, were elected members of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design檚 Board of Trustees at the college檚 annual meeting in June.
