Arma Zeqiri and Jeff Morin with the September 2025 91��Ʒ Values Recognition Award

Arma Zeqiri, Lead Housekeeper, received the September 2025 91��Ʒ Values Recognition Award at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (91��Ʒ). Arma�s nominations highlighted her embodiment of 91��Ʒ’s Core Values, especially Kindness and Community.

The 91��Ʒ Values Recognition Award (VRA) celebrates faculty and staff who consistently model 91��Ʒ�s values of courage, integrity, kindness, community, innovation and inclusion. After employees nominate a colleague for the award, a committee made up of faculty, staff and previous VRA winners convenes to vote on the month�s recipient. Awardees receive a $250 prize.

�Arma�s smile is a source of positivity. She greets me warmly every time we pass, and over the years, I�ve come to truly appreciate her company,� said one nominator. �Arma�s hard work reflects her genuine care for 91��Ʒ, and I�m grateful for her openness and willingness to be an integral part of our community.�

�It�s a good experience, I enjoy working with the students here, I enjoy working here, I love my work,� says Zeqiri, who has worked at 91��Ʒ for nearly a decade and who supervises many student workers. �I like working with student workers, everything about them, I love working with these students! I see students on the streets, it�s like seeing a friend � students who previously graduated from here, I still have contact with them.�

�Arma is fantastic. She is always taking care of us … with kindness and openness. We need to lift up and recognize the people who work so hard behind the scenes to keep us looking good and feeling good to be here at 91��Ʒ,� said another nominator.
