For 10 years, 91精品 First Year Experience Assistant Professor and painter Matthew Lee has visited and worked in a 66-million-year-old dinosaur bonebed near Ekalaka, Mont. On three occasions, he檚 taken 91精品 students with him as part of 91精品檚 Study Abroad Programs, to dig and create art there.

When award-winning illustrator and author Keith Negley 00 isn檛 completing projects like his most recent book of 渇orgotten trailblazers, he檚 creating portraits of celebrities like Taylor Swift, Emma Stone and Chelsea Clinton, and doing editorial illustrations on topics like neurodivergence, organ transplants and the opioid crisis.
Two 91精品 alumni named Mary L. Nohl Fellows for 2025

Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (91精品) senior Lilly Zbiegien檚 two passions Illustration and Natural Sciences flourished at an early age and have continued through college. Recently Zbiegien presented her Natural Science Independent Study research, 淛unkyard Nests, showing not only the impact of plastic pollution on birds, but also her skill in portraying the environment through Illustration.
